Any products that aren't quite perfect steer clear of the rubbish bin here. Instead they get saved up for very special seconds sales where we offer these items at heavily reduced prices.
So, the thing is
We all know there's no planet B, and we all know we need to do our bit to look after the world we live in. We know that manufacturing metal pollutes our air and soil, as well as consuming an enormous amount of energy and non-recycled paper produducts in addition use huge amounts of water in production. So why not use an alternative?
Well we're here to do just that.
Materials
Our paper products are always made using recycled cardstock, which helps in two ways. Firstly less water and energy are needed to recycle and repurpose pre-used paper, and secondly it reduces the amount of paper going to landfill. Good stuff.
Instead of metal, our keyrings and pins are made using fast-growing wood, sourced from ethical suppliers. Every purchase means we can to help fund responsible woodland management schemes.
Unlike our packaging stickers, our pretty science stickers are currently made from vinyl, but we are always on the look out for an eco friendly yet durable alternative. They are, however, sent to us in plastic free packaging which is one small win that we're proud of!
All of our products are manufactured in right here in the UK with Northumberland and Sussex based businesses.

Every month Oh So Science donates to Ecologi, an organisation working hard to fight the climate crisis. These donations mean real trees get planted and wildlife habitats are actively restored.
